Hatmoza, no offense, but that's one of the most one-sided bets I've ever seen. I'd bet my kirby doll (with his "Link" costume) on that, and I love that little guy!

EDIT: To clarify, I think there's no way the 360 version will sell less than 350k on week one.

Ohhhh then again, how many days does the game have in it's "first" week? Even if it is just one day, I'd still expect launch sales to be higher than 350k.

the crazy amount of downloads and pre-orders is a good indication that the game will sell very well. And the first reviews are postive.

For every "so called" fan of the franchise who says they won't buy it due to the demo, theres a potential new fan about to emerge who did like the demo.

Besides, i bet a high percentage of those who say they are not going to buy it end up taking the plunge............ Afterall, its resident evil.

Resident evil won't bomb........... its one of the most recognisable and greatest franchises of all time.

Capcom stated they want 5 million worldwide, so I think the chance of a bomb are pretty big, especially since Killzone, StreetFighter and Halo Wars are just released.

It will still sell very well, though, but not 5 million.

Well, sounds like the game will be fairly successful after all. I'm excited to see the numbers.

The PS2 version of RE4 did 321k first week in NA and Japan. Perhaps 380k WW.

So even 450k WW on each console wouldn't be a bomb, it would be an improvement. Hell, 350k WW wouldn't be a bomb, just disappointing.

Less than 250k first week on each console would be a bomb, and maybe not even that. Dead Rising on Wii did 6500 first week in Others, THAT was a bomb...

Are you insane?  There is absolutely no chance in hell that it could sell less than 350k on 360 or PS3.  In fact, I don't see how it could sell less than a million on 360 and 750k on PS3.
