Although i personally believe that it has done very well. But finding no announcement from Sony is a bit strange and it look like to ME that Sony was expecting a bit more... else they must have given some numbers or estimated sales...

750,000+ is a pretty big success, IMO.

Plus 1.2 million sold to retailers in Europe alone. That is a lot of money for Sony, regardless of what sellthroughs turned out to be.

Only a matter of time before the announcement is made.

Hmm, so when sony would claim numbers to be such and such, people would come in and say "that's sold to retail" blablabla.

When they don't claim certain numbers, it's automatically "must've done lousy, compared to Sony's wishes".

I would wait for the US numbers before making this decision.

this article is a bit (to put it mildly) premature......unless this game starts posting negative sales its already poised to be a resounding success....

MGs4 was a resounding success.....we didn't get any numbers until the shipment data from konami
