If you want to abandon Nintendo, that's your prerogative. But make no mistake: it is you who are abandoning Nintendo, through your excessively narrow tastes and refusal to examine what the marketers don't tell you to buy. Nintendo is not abandoning you or anyone else.
But whatever. Have fun with your FPS of the month, for whatever short time is left that your crowd can sustain a console by itself.

i agree with everything tc said. i have about 7 wii games and i had the wii since launch. nintendo betrayed all its fans.

Then why the hell did you make this thread if you know this?! Every console has a lag in quality games. There were times when even my SNES gave me the middle finger in terms of good games.
Good luck with the relationship and all. In the future, Paris will divorce you, and George and Angelina will run off together. If it wasn't for the whole aspect of them being game consoles at least. Also, you need to wear condoms, I'm pretty sure neither Microsoft nor Sony has thought of security as much as Nintendo has on this point.

Ok this is getting insane. Tell us what kind of games you like for god's sake! Obviously you don't like casual games fine. Do you not like Mature game either? Madworld? The Conduit? Tenchu 4? Deadly Creatures? House of the Dead? If none of those appeal to you I would be willing to bet you won't be happy with either of the HD 1996 controlling boxes.
If you aren't just a troll tell us what kind of games you like, otherwise you are just trying to bring in the geniuses like the guy who thinks Nintendo is moving back to classic controls.

Yep. Nintendo has totally abandoned the fans. I mean, geez, when are they gonna make the 3rd Smash Bros? Or a new Wario Land game? And when are they going to finally make a new 3D Mario? The last one was Sunshine! And what has ever happened to the Super Mario Bros series?! It stopped at World! D:!
