Don't bother with the 360 fanboys. No matter the evidence stacked against them, they will maintain that it is overrated, has broken controls, bad AI, mediocre graphics, and nothing new.

Whatever. I've been desensitized to it. If you really care that much about insulting a game you haven't played (fully), go ahead. I'm not listening.

And I agree with Spartan, how often do you see Sony fans trolling Gears of War threads? Never. I've played it, I think it's brilliant. Yes, even though it's not on PS3. Shocking.

5.5 million sales and numerous GoTY awards? I can live with that.

Seriously? GTA4?

Let me explain this to you.

There had been no GTA for four years. People would see anything with the words "Grand Theft Auto" on the front cover, and love the game. Admit it, you loved it when it first released. Everybody did. They were too caught up in there being another Grand Theft Auto to care about any flaws.

It was only a few days and weeks later that people began to notice that something was wrong, that GTA4 was missing something. The reviews had been written before this had set in. They were bound to give it GoTY awards, because they'd all given it perfect scores.

Killzone 2 is nothing like this. Sure, Killzone released 5 years ago, but nobody really loved it the way they loved San Andreas. It got average reviews, sold pretty well, and was listed as one of the many mediocre titles on the PS2, overshadowed by games like God of War and Shadow of The Colossus.

Something like "broken controls" would be noticed immediately, by everyone. Notice that pretty much every single person who has given it a chance, and not whined "Waah waah not CoD4, SUCKS!" has ended up loving the game? Killzone 2 does not have broken controls. They are just harder to use than those in CoD4, because there's no nice auto aim to hold your hand.

If you gave the game a chance, you would like it too.

gears over killzone. only a delusional xbot would say such a thing. turns ot cliffy b. MUST BE CRYING CAUSE AFTER THE MOST ANTICIPATED TITLE OF 08 CAME OUT, GEARS 2, FOR 3 MONTHS HAS RANKED ONLY #4 ON XBOX LIVE CHART. lol. even halo 3 and cod4 over a year older games are being more played than gears 1. so the gears 2 argument doesnt work. it also did not get any GOTY awards cause after 2 weeks just like me people were over that game. theres very few people that liked it and oh yeah it completely dropped off from january npd while cod still hanging in there. lol. and this is from the guy who consider gears 1 the best shooter ever. and was sure gears 2 will be the same. as it turns out
