Lol, and i have bioshock sitting in front of me so it also has 1 copy as well

 probably running the best add for any game probably helped it a little, people still do act based on commercials 

They better not! I only have 70 blocks free (forget the fact that I have the game pre-ordered and all) I'd still try and download the demo ;) I wanted Super C this week... but decided not to get it due to having no friggin space on my Wii!

Here's my numbers:  Bioshock 300k, Metroid 350k (The first shipment sold out already at most Walmarts and Targets across the states). 

Bioshock has very very good reviews. But I fear Halo3 will take away a lot of it's potential buyers to wait for Halo3 to come out first. Or it might be the other way around...

I expect MP3 to win first week. It's hyped as one of the launch games for the Wii remember! So lots of Wii gamers are waiting for this game to come out for a long long time already! Expect Metroid to be sold out for weeks. It all depends on the shipments. Metroid is the biggest release thus far on the Wii, it will beat Pokemon and Mario Party with a big margin! I expect numbers between 300.000 and 400.000 first week sales. I expect Bioshock numbers to be between 150.000 and 250.000 first week. Expect it to have much stronger legs though! Kinda like the Goldeneye for the Xbox360.

I think bioshock will beat mp3 first week.
mp3 will beat bioshock the rest of the following weeks.

I think Bioshock will end up doing 400k first week, but ioi numbers will be lower (350 k) (remember the early release by one shop? Just a guess).

Metroid will do about 380k because it doesn't has a full week. I think a lot of people waited for a game with FPS elements for the Wii. So i expect this one to hit big time and hitting even more in Europe :)

Hmm, Bioshock will have a full week and Metroid just one day? That will really throw off the comparison. I'd guess in their first FULL week...

Bioshock: 325k
Metroid: 150k

I think there is the potential for Prime 3 to outsell the original Prime, but I don't find it very likely. One guy here said if it doesn't do big numbers it proves the Wii hasn't attracted the "hardcore", but that is silly. Hardcore doesn't=big sales. Mainstream appeal=big sales. Only one of the last 3 home console Metroid games has sold over one million copies and that was the first Prime(which had 8 years of Metroid starvation and being a revolutionary game to drive it's sales). I think Super Metroid only did 400k+ and Prime 2 only did 700k+. Expecting huge numbers for a Metroid game usually gets you burned.

I went to a Wal-Mart Supercenter an hour ago to see if they had Prime 3, which they didn't. My friend that works there showed me that they already have Tiger Woods, yet no Metroid. He checked and said they had an "order for 10 copies", which doesn't sound like a lot considering the size of the store. No ads for Prime 3 that I've seen so far either. It seems very, very likely it will have sales south of 200k in it's first week.

Sales for fist month in retail:

Bioshock: 250K
Metroid: 400K

With an almost identical installbase this could be very interesting(in the long run, Japanese won´t buy eather game witch is worse for MP3 but europeans should love it), maybe even to close to call, we all know lots of 360 fans love shooters (I know Bioshock and MP3 are much more), still the Wii fans have waited so long for a shooter to get the controlles spot on and MP3 did just that.... I say MP3 will sell more after a month, but not much and I won´t go into numbers since I´m really bad at estimating them and would just copy other posters
