Well games wise it is possible some could say Sony had the best game line up in 08 but that is of course what you prefer for games atleast it is really hard to say the PS3 had a huge worse game line up last year than MS.

He may be deluded or stupid but he was talking about both games and sales. And the way I see it, both the PS3 & PSP have better games this year than last year. But I doubt we'll see any record breaking "growth and momentum" in the sales area, admittedly.

@Jman. I Actually got it from random threads/sites etc. where the majority of people say PS3 had the best games of 08, no evidence of this... just personal experience. PLUS the IGN thing... its actually based on several different reviewers reviews etc... even if it only was the Aussies

IGN is one site but if we look at metacritics which is the average score of alot of reviews (including IGN) we can see that the 360 has more games over 90+ and more games over 80+.And obviously metacritics holds more merit because its the opinions of many reviewers put together.

The above is your precious "public opinion" but will you still believe it? If you truly believe this "public opinion" and reviewers crap then you believe that the 360 had the better library than the ps3 but you dont because its completely objectional.

You are putting words in their mouth. Another year of growth for the PS3? Yes. Not the year where it passes the competition and dominates. But then- nobody ever said that did they?

Yeah, not the best way to put it. If that was record growth and momentum, I'd hate to see what a record loss of momentum looks like.
