There's two pages for the Wii Tenchu game on this site, and they are even clearly labeled as Japan and USA. Are the games different? I don't see why it was necessary to split the game up like that.

Also, the review for Tenchu that Naz just put up is only put up on the Japanese page. Does that mean his review is for a different game than the USA one, so it doesn't apply? I'm so confused..

I think the reason for this is, that the game was accidentally created 2 times in the gamedatabase. However because the japanese sales are on one of the games and the NA Sales on the other one, it wouldn't help to delete one of the entries. I think the gamedatabase admins have named them so they know which one has which sales and they will merge them as soon as they can.

Disclaimer: I am not part of the gamedatabase team. (However, I like to help them by adding screenshoots and other stuff.)

This happens all the time. The same happened for Rogue Galaxy. Usually the database admins just delete the extra, but if numbers are already accidentally added to both (as was the case with Rogue Galaxy), they usually just rename each, rather than moving the numbers around.

PM a DB mod about it.

I've seen some games like that. People protest about it in their respective wall posts.

we can't move numbers around, only brett can. The problem lies in the fact that there are 2 databases, and we can only modify the one on this website. Even if we had the ability to change the numbers on this website, brett would still be putting the sales in the second game because his database wouldn't have been updated with the information.

This is something I am really hoping will be addressed now that brett is working on the website full time. I'm hoping either he will fix the problems himself (we report them) or he gives 1-2 site/db admins the power to fix these mistakes.

I am the one who usually labels the games with 'US' or 'JP' sales so that people know that we indeed have both sales numbers already in the DB.
Merging power for DBAdmins would be the ultimate solution. :)

I already made a google docs, and when people report a game I typically update that. After a while I stopped as people kept reporting the same games. I'll shoot you a link to the google doc.

The problem with the last thread, is that the thread creator abandoned it and it devolved into a complete mess of figuring out what a DB admin could do and what only you can do. Maybe I'll make an official thread where the first post is actually updated with current information.
