Someone please correct me if I am wrong as I have heard this somewhere on this site and I could be waaaayyyyy off.

Sin and Punishment was an on-rails shooter correct? If so, will Sin and Punishment 2 be the same thing?

Now if both are true, why would be people be looking forward to that and then push another "on-rails" (or so they say) shooter to the curb?

I was thinking the same thing. Now, I understand some people's argument that they were expecting a TPS (Some were even expecting a port which was wrong of them, since EA never said they were porting Dead Space).

However, the thing I don't understand is the large amount of "on rails suckzors!!1122!@11one1!"

On-Rail shooters, from my experience anyways, tend to be more fun than serious, which I happen to like a lot. Umbrella Chronicles and even a game like Time Crisis 4 for the PS3 are great fun, especially with a friend.

Wasn't this also what the Wii community always preached? "Fun games" and not caring for the HD library of games?

Now it just seems they are complaining because it isn't exactly the same, which quite frankly is what I always seemed to believe they did not want.

Once again, please correct me if I am wrong.

It makes sense too, I mean someone who wants a deep cinematic extravaganza can shell out a few hundred bucks for a HD console or boot up their computer, its not like the Wii is suffering for a lack of those games with their core demographics which seem to be shaping up as the very young, the very old and women.  I guarantee you none of those 3 groups cares at all about a port of GTA, Dead Space or the rest of it (and it shows in the way those kinds of games never sell on the Wii, Manhunt 2 on the 360/PS3 would have been a multi million seller easy just like the original if it was for HD consoles instead of the Wii.

No.

hey who makes fifa each year? what EA? then FUCK YE

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

EA needs to make a new Mutant League Football or Hockey.

you just reminded me that I owned NHL Hitz 20-02 and that was one of my favorite games. It was so much fun to knock out all the openents good players so their team sucked One of the few games that makes me wish Midway wasn't going bankrupt.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

I'm in favor of new legislation on the forum rules, something to the effect of cutting redundancy since it should lower the ammount of distasteful content.

Seriously though, if whole threads where deleted due to redundancy and within the borders of pathotic (emotional dimension) inference. Especially threads where the question is loaded with conjecture.

ea are the most important video game developers to have on your side when you look at 3rd party games.

no one comes close to them.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Uh, of course they are relevant? EA is one of the best publishers.

Nah, I still like EA. They've been trying hard to make good games lately.

I'm just disappointed that the Wii version of Dead Space hasn't been tailor-made to be everything I ever wanted in a game ever. I'm sad that I'm not the epitome of their intended demographic.

Is it just me or does it seem like EA is just trying to jump on the "on-rails" bandwagon?
