if you consider an enormous mass of people influenced by marketing and kiddy games, that continue to buy only the same 3/4 games as a winner.. yes they win.

but i think that the real game industry in another thing.. thant's why serious games aren't comin out for wii (i mean, something that is not just nice to see and easy to play)

That makes sense, it can't keep beaing it's previous year forever.... so yes... 2009 will certainly be bigger than 2008 though, 2010 is up in the air at the moment, if the Wii follows the PS2 it will go down, if it follows the DS it will stay level.

Not even close, there is still a lot to do. sales wise Wii is the fastest selling console of the current three, however industry growth is a hefty priority.

I can't believe there are people who still think PS3 has a chance at selling more than the Wii. Infinity, give me whatever drugs you are on because I'd like to inhabit fantasy land also.

This year will be the real explosive growth phase of the Wii. Last year had almost NO major releases, and it whipped the competition all over the place.

This year the Wii has so many great games coming to it, there is no logical way to suggest that it's growth phase is over, or even near an end. And as has been pointed out, it's sales are still growing on a weekly basis. There has been no decline, where did you dream that?

The Wii can only support Nintendo games here...just check their top-selling games.

And to top it all off, they only cater to the casual gamers, with their non-games. And they have to use their gimmicky Wii motes because their system truly is just two Gamecubes duct-taped together!

So their opinions are just as legitimate as the others are.

Yes this is true.  House Of the Dead: Overkill has just been released and is sure to sell a million.  It is all primary colors and minigames.   

If you also consider that the average Wii game only needs to sell 1/4 of what a PS/360 game needs to in order to be profitable, then selling 3/4's of the PS/360's games is EXTRA WIN.
