I'm sure he's not permabanned anymore after the whole jailbreak incident (where all banned members were set free by a glitch) but after being banned he probably just doesn't want to come back.

Geez dude, its a recession and they're offering a $400 product. People are losing their jobs on a daily basis and the fact that 150,000 people per week are coming up with $400 to put down on a console is pretty amazing.
