When you said 'One hit wonder' are you basing that on the eleven Final Fantasy games which begin as a new story? I said 11 cause FFX continues into FFX-2.

I agree. He isn't running the company very efficiently, imo.

I think Wada does a great job. Because while Sega and other japanese giants are cutting jobs, canning projects and selling studious - SE is making take over bids for publishers like Tecmo and Eidos.

Your looking at it the wrong way, baby. Sega is so good, that they can afford to downsize. Square is still trying to be as good, therefor the need to aquire new Devs. Sega has made the best game this gen and Square is still trying. ~_n

Sega is much bigger and they have bought/worked with many western developers. They can´t afford a downsize, because they are competing for the top. Since the merger, SE has been racking so much profit, even though they didn´t have the ability to create new games, from their fantastic franchises that they can buy game companies at a time like this and not lay employees off.

cool, good move for square-enix and for eidos. the past few tomb raiders have brought lara croft back to mean something again. also they have the dues ex,thief,gex,legacy of kain,commando and a few other series as well.
