 Ha, to really mess with us they need to announce Sonic, Miis, and online for Brawl. :D

 Who knows...I have a feeling the fireballs will simply shoot in the direction Mario is facing, because if it was IR aiming, Mario could be running to the left and shooting fireballs to the right...which doesn't make sense.

 True. I would hate it if my plumber in space shooting fireballs didn't make any sense... :)

@Ben,

Just a thought but they could pretty easily turn Mario to face the way you are trying to shoot. Would also make it so you can't run away from something and shoot it at the same time. But I do have to say I think implementing the Fire Flower properly is going to be pretty important.

Oooh I know..when you pick up the Fire Flower you will be taken ....for the first time ever in a mario game.....into first person! Actually that is kind of interesting...I wonder how that would be recieved..my first reaction is sort of an "Ewe...hmmm not so much.".
