Clover hasn't made any best selling games... neither has HVS to my knowledge? They've just done side programming for some games?

It was a launch game though.
Furthermore it was a launch game that tricked you into thinking you were going to get some kickass swordplay.

Needs more violence
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
I don't think publishers will really look at MadWorld's sales. It's just not that sort of game.
Conduit needs to sell a million, 2 would be good

Well considering Halo 3 has done 10 million, Call of Duty 4 is 7/4 million (360/PS3) and those are the elite shooters it should do at least a few million LTD.
I'd say if it equals or surpasses 3.5 million (Resistance) then it would be a success. Thats not hard, thats 7.5% of their 46 million userbase.
The Conduit needs to sell 2 million copies to make other third party publishers think that shooters can sell on the Wii. The problem with Madworld is that I don't really think that there is a way to advertise it that much. I mean, most of the game seems to be acts of dismemberment and things of that sort. My prediction is that the new HOTD is going to be the big hit for Sega. Light gun games on the Wii are a lot of fun to play and this is one made specifically for it The only other one (not counting Link's Crossbow Training) was Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and that was a pretty big hit. RE isn't known as a light gun series. HOTD is. Excellent marketing for it so far too.

1.5-2M for The Conduit.
500k-1M for MadWorld.
I think both are fair. Both are Lifetime sales by the way.

I seriously think publishers would notice even at 500,000! These game are hyped and if they can quickly reach that number that would be great. MadWorld is such a niche title that 400,000 could garner a sequel!
I would love Conduit to hit 1 million because FPS work on Wii and would like more of them!
Wii - 3810 4459 0841 8442 - (Message me to add me)
360 - LuminalACE
PS3 - AUS-ACE
Mad World will not reach a million, but I think The Conduit needs to do well over a million within a year for any publishers to notice.
