Star Ocean: The Last Hope

Launch Dates:

JP: February 19th
NA: February 24th
EU: April 24th

Star Ocean: The Last Hope is the fourth entry in the Star Ocean series, developed by tri-Ace and published by Square Enix exclusively for the Xbox 360. It's a sci-fi/fantasy RPG with a realtime, action-based combat system.

Storyline:

Star Ocean 4 takes place in SD 0010 and is a prequel to the rest of the series, delving into its origins. Earth has been devesated by World War III and has become almost uninhabitable. Faced with this crisis, mankind looks for a new home...in the stars. With the invention of the warp drive, deep space travel is possible. As Edge Maverick you lead the SRF on the first mission into space to discover what's really out and find a possible new planet to call hom...this is where the game begins.

I was waiting for the latest video, it seems like the last "big" trailer before the game launches so it should complete my presentation of the RPG of the generation.

i am looking forward to "star ocean:the last hope", so much. the graphics are damn near to ff13 quality as far as i am concerned, i love the star ocean battle system, the characters look very cool and i like the scope of game and environments.

I'm waiting on reviews before I get this...

I have never played a Star Ocean game before, but knowing that it's SE, I don't have high hopes for it at all. I'll probably get it launch day, but man, I just hope it's at least decent.
