"HD" "HD!" "HD!" Back in the 90's we didn't care about resolution except on PC. Neo Geo was lower res than SNES, and I promise you not one person noticed.

I had a PS2 only, with about 20 games too.  And I've been a gamer going back when commodore 28/64
 and gaming console units with names I can't even remember where around.  before the Atari.

I chose the wii because of the new gaming experiences.  I think however, with many BIG third party games that are coming, and will be coming (esp many being announced this year), many PS360 owners will also have a Wii... either as their primary or secondary unit.

Unfortunatly whorenraged, asking this on a site filled with fanboys is not going to get you a very good responce.  most of them will claim the Wii is too kiddy or that there are no games that interest them.  This is usually the case only because they are more blinded by ignorence then anything else.

Well, yes. As long as the games keep coming and the PS360 moves to Wii. It's a little like N64 or Saturn and PSX. You bought the console from your favourite manufacturer but all the games went to the new brand in the end.

Even if the set stayed as it is at the moment, Wii keeps getting PS360 gamers by being different.

@BrayanA: We all get what you're saying. You're a PC gamer. But then again, a lot of PC gamers have shown a lot of interest towards the Wii, due to it being different from what PC offers.

Fair enough, but I'd imagine you're in the minority.

Wii controls are nice and all (Although I've never been bothered by dual analogue, never got that grip so many people have). It's not really the graphics for me that changes thing, just the whole experience, if you get me. Bioshock looked great but it had so much more then just good looks, great style, story, presentation, music etc. Then there's Wii's online system... lol.

 I dunno, I'm sure I'll get into my Wii again, probably once I'm living with flat mates next year and multiplayer is more common. Doubt I'll use it for single player other then the odd RPG here and there.

ok, I know everyone loves lists, but you guys including House of the Dead as a potentially great game are funny. UC wasn't very good, and it had the RE license.

Well dude HD talking get's famous nowadays because of the new TV's and Movies, not the games or consoles itselves since we are playing HD games since the first games on PC that already had 720p resolutions. If I am not wrong the first HD game I played was Tomb Raider 2 on my ooooooooooooooold desktop :)

Also what games are actually coming to the Wii? Yeah I saw the long list last page and know most of them myself but non of them are that big.

Nothing on the Wii (Minus DQX in Japan) is really a 'big' game. Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, MGS, Devil May Cry, GTA, Call of Duty, Street Fighter etc all have their main interations on the PS360... Wii has nothing like that 0_o. It has Nintendo games, but so did the GameCube :/.

ok, now take out all multiplat titles, because as a PS3 owner there's no way I'm buying a Wii version of a multi-plat game.

overlord?  really?  endless ocean 2?  ugh...  RRR2 wasn't very good.  I hope Mario Party 9 fixes all the problems that game has had for a long time.  Sonic?  hah. 

I doubt it will be called Galaxy 2, and who knows how long away that is.  Same with Zelda.  Do we have release dates for those?

Actually, how many of these have release dates?  I want NMH2 and maybe Boom Blox 2 if they add some stuff I can't get with created levels.

Funny, you sound like the school example of a casual gamer. Play the big names and nothing else.
