He will be the next Kimarhi for me, he will be thrust into my back party as soon as possible and never used, afros and final fantasies don't go together for me. (Though of course there will be a trophy making me max him out....)

 

He just might be the one with the "lonheart/Omnislash" "limit break" which would be necessary to beat Omega weapon/Pe-na-nce/Yiazmat/Nemesis

I fear that, and I will get all trophies in this game, so I will have to beat the Pennance like thing (I am working my way towards it on FFX) so I hope he wont be required

フ ルネームはサッズ・カッツロイ。見事なアフロヘアーが印象的なキャラクターだ。正確な年齢は不明だが、ライトニングたちよりも年長で、歳相応の分別と社会 的責任をわきまえた人物。温厚な正確で涙もろいところもあるが、喜怒哀楽の表現が豊かで、ムードメーカー的な存在となりそう。

 

 

『II』 で初登場して以来、シリーズに欠かさず登場してきたチョコボ。その『XIII』での姿がついに公開された。この小さなひなチョコボは、つねにサッズととも に行動しているとのこと。サッズを見つめる彼（彼女？）の信頼しきった眼差しや、それに対するサッズの愛情溢れる接しかたは、まるで本物の親子!?

 

 

ラ イトニングとともに行動するサッズ。しかしふたりは意気投合しているわけではなく、サッズが一方的にライトニングについていっているだけのようだ。ライト ニングはそれを鬱陶しく感じているのか、執拗にしがみつくサッズを無理矢理引き剥がそうとしている。ふたりは目的を同じくしているのか、それとも……。

 

A black man with a fro and some chicken. Then getting slapped as if he some kind of rapist. No swords, spears, staffs, like other FF characters but guns. I see stereotyping here. I'm offended, MFG!!!!

Why place all the blame on the Japanese? The west is no different. The games that flop there pretty much flop here, as well. If I'm wrong, do point out the exceptions.

OT: Still can't believe this afro dude is in a Final Fantasy. It kinda ruins the atmosphere for me. GTFO.

So is it the "afro" or the "dude" that bothers you? Frankly, I find him to be a breath of fresh air in what would otherwise be as cliched as normal.
