SNES can be considered 10x the console of any of the current gen systems. But seeing as the Wii will probably be the only system this gen to outsell the SNES and NES, I think its great, and solidifies Nintendo for a return next gen.

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

I loved the SNES, but the Wii is better because it targets to more kind of costumers and types of gaming. The SNES was created to counter attack the Genesis and the Turbografx (in japan) and they undergo in a "war" for supremacy..losing the half of the costumers.
And come on! the Wii has more great games than those you mention! Castlevania Judgment, resident evil umbrella chronicles, Megaman 9, world of goo, wii music, animal crossing and more to come!

We has other games worth playing...however I feel that those are the games thus far that have defined the Wii as a console.

No. I played the game and it sucks... Most reviews say it sucks as well and I am pointing this out.
Save your "opinions are children of this world" talk here...when a game gets 47 on metactitic, it is not a game that defines a system...which is what we were talking about above.
