Great score, but we really shouldn't make a new thread for every incoming review....

Edit: Just saw the past reviews in OP.... I can't legitametely, with a straight face, say that a review site is good if they have Halo 3 anything above an 85..... This makes their review almost worthless now....damn... just when I was getting excited too.

Although I don't know much about the website MEGamers, I can't actually access the site to read the full review, and I think we should wait for more reviews from sites like IGN and Gamespot, it still is an impressive score.

I was a bit surprised to see this review so early -- it's on Metacritic as well now -- and a little more suprised at the score. Looking good so far; but, like others, I'll be waiting to see what the big sites say before getting too excited.

I know hating on Halo is cool, but as I said, all the games shown have had bloated scores. Halo 3 is a lot better than some of you are giving it credit for.

Okay, I was hoping there was another explanation, but I'll change that.

Luckily they're under new management and hopefully don't hate the PS3 as much.

Before anybody throws the LBP A+ at me, look at the scores for:

-MGS4

-Resistance 2

-Gears 2

-Wii Music

-Soul Calibur IV.

EDIT: Halo 3 wasn't that bad. It wasn't the second coming of Christ that some people hyped it to be, it added...nothing, but it was still an excellent game, deserving of around a 9.

9.8 is just ridiculous. These reviewers appear to be shooter lovers.

On a slightly different topic, KZ2 > Halo 3!

Yeah... I don't see many problems with those reviews, though GoW2 was more of an A-, B+ material....

My score is just based on how good it is relative to other games of its type, not the overall quality.

Sadly... There aren't that many that gave such low scores to GTA IV too.
