hahaha, no. WoW subscriptions alone would be bigger than that number. That number does count retail WoW expansion sales though.

It does make you wonder, who writes this stuff?
Interesting NPD. It's fun to see people switch positions in the arguements.
Financials are coming up soon. Should be fun to see who is "right".
Nintendo apparently shipping less in Decemember then Janurary is... confusing... worrying about the Dollar to Yen transition makes sense... but holding on to stock would be worse. Were they shipped elsewhere who knows.

Hopefully this month won't have killed it's momentum.
Although that seems unlikely.
Okami
To lavish praise upon this title, the assumption of a common plateau between player and game must be made. I won't open my unworthy mouth.

You do realize that a Microsoft exec was quoted, in that very article, as saying that he did not believe that PC gaming was in a decline.

And neither does VGC. I hate how we use that against NPD being that VGC doesn't have that data either.

I wasn't using that against anyone. But it is a possible source of tracking error, whether it be NPD or VGC. That's why I always trust the financial reports above sampling.
