Japan's Shintoist. It's still somehow related to Buddhism, I think.
Neverthless, beside the fact that there are Chrisitans there, their X-mas is extremely secular.

No, indeed, sales are just coincidentally higher in December every year...
Just because most Japanese don't celebrate Christmas doesn't mean they don't have a holiday. They celebrate New Year.
Christmas isn't celebrated entirely for religious purposes anymore....The vast (and I mean vast) majority celebrate it as a religion-neutral holiday....Including Japan.
