Maybe you are right. This site is not the perfect example of a random sample, but anyway there is people in here that care about games and not about console wars (I am one of those).

Halo ODST for me. I am going to buy all three anyway but I only have to wait another month and half for Killzone 2 so it was between the other two.
Conduit. Unknown developer, grass roots marketing, excellent controls and game play mechanics, spiritual Perfect Dark successor. No other FPS coming out has me feeling like this game does. I am seriously excited for this game unlike most any other Wii game this year.
Halo and Killzone have very little if anything to offer in the way of hyping me like Conduit does. However, I know I will be playing Halo a lot when it comes out!
