Has anyone actually read the full article in the link? It specifically states that while this 'tactic' works in the early stages, you're likely to get owned if you try it against the smarter AI later in the game.
Not much of an issue but it seems to be at least semi-fixed when you crank up the AI?

Wow...
Found at N4G, along with the rest of the "Review". |
Which is exactly the way CoD works, but hey lets not let that get in the way of bias amirite?
I can't believe you guys complained about a review without reading the whole thing. Then it was for 8 pages at that.

Your sig is hilarious. Where did you find the WWII RTS?

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

Alright, so I admit that I insta-fail for posting this without adding in the final paragraph.
I saw this posted on another site and just tossed it up over here. A mistake? Yes I know.
Anyways, anyone posting anything negative about this or the AI really looks foolish right about now though. As mentioned above me, in that same exact article they say that you can do this in the early stages on normal, once you begin to progress later in the game "on normal" this same exact 'tactic' will get you killed.
I also think the part about "knifing your way through" only pertains to the games first level. So far being able to "knife your way" through 1 out of 10 levels "on normal" shouldn't be a big deal, even if you tried to make it seem that way.
Now this knife is considered a "1-hit kill" weapon, so how could it not work later on? Could the enemies be that hard later on in Normal difficulty? If so, I would hate to see Hard or possibly whatever comes after that.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Come on, Halo meele attacks are also one hit kill. Chainsaw bayonnet on Gears is one hit kill. Right, on GoW if you take damage the chainsaw is lowered, but the force shield on Halo grants a ridiculously easy way to kill some targets, run back to recover, get up and kill again. Nobody has ever mentioned it as being an issue.
Plus it seems on KZ2 you are killed easily out of cover, so the knife shall be kinda a reward to those good enough to make their way next to a target.
this sounds really fun and i will attempt this after i beat the game, im sensing alot of youtube videos showin their knife skills.

I honestly can't remember anymore, it had me in stitches though and was definitely from one of those website dedicated to making people laught at dumb things.

I agree completely. Why are knifes one hit kills in shooters? I have never done it, but I suspect knifing someone would take a lot of time and effort. That was the most annoying part about COD4 mp.
Don't expect GamesRadar to write any glowing reviews about Killzone 2. They have already posted a what reviewers will love and hate about KZ2 article. They put an emphasis on the hate sections.
Thanks for the input, Jeff.
