Forums - Gaming - So how many of you played first Killzone/Liberation?

There has been many gamers here that are loving Killzone 2 so much they would sell their kid for that. But how many of you really played Killzone 1,or Liberation for PSP?

Can sequels succeed when previous games have failed?

I played both.Liked them much.

Never did, might buy the PSP one. I think they are irrelevant at this point though.

I liked the first one thx to his story and how the four characters behaved against each other, thinking about it, it even reminds me of GEOW. The music was great aswell. Ugh now I want to play it again.

How did they fail so greatly. Both sold well, and Liberation was reviewed well as well

I thought they were great, especially Liberation

I played Killzone 1. Fantastic game.

Almost made me jealous of PS2 owners, but then I simply continued to play Halo CE :D

I used to have Killzone. It was sort of like Assassin's Creed for me- I went in to it expecting something mind-blowing because of all the hype, ended up being pretty disappointed and kind of hating it, and later realized it was a pretty good game after all.

Liberation was far more entertaining than KZ1. However that was mostly due the fact that I could use it on a trip, never really touched it when I was home....

Rented KZ1, it was okay at first, then it got progressivley worse in terms of glitches and control problems. I liked the setting, but the game never used it to its advantage at all. Never played Liberation since there are other PSP games that interest me more. I felt the sequel was going to be bad the moment KZ2 was announced, but seeing the footage and hearing the pre-reception, it will be a competent shooter.

I hated Liberation...if I had enjoyed it I might've tried out the first KZ but Liberation made me so upset, I never picked up Killzone. It is easily my least favorite game on PSP, I bought it expecting a cool fps and ended up with a really broken and bad game.
