Wow, it's avinash.

I haven't seen your Wii loving ass in ages. <3

I don't understand how this guy can dismiss The Conduit so easily. He says he's played MoH:H. The controls are freaking incredible.

This.

When I saw the article, I thought "Hmm, MadWorld, The Conduit, No More Heroes 2, and Muramasa: The Demon Blade, all say hi!"

I don't think I've ever seen a winning console gathering too much hate like the Wii. Nintendo definitely changed things and the old geek gamers can't deal with it, like the dude from this article:

http://www.slapstic.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=124:why-now-is-the-time-to-abandon-ship-on-the-wii&catid=10:opinion-articles

If people prefers the xbox360/PS3 over the Wii, ok fine. That's just their tastes and that's something personal. But this guy it saying the same old song about "Nintendo has betrayed us blah blah blah they don't care about us anymore blah blah Microsoft does loves us so we should buy an xbox yadda yadda". Statementes that are nothing but gossips and lies just to creat fear and uncertainity amongts the nerd gamers out there that follows the game reviewers blindly and without any other kind of opinion or research.

I hope these kind of articles stop appearing. They are pathetic and too fanboyish. But I doubt it.

OMG, now THIS is pathetic, don't these people have something better to do than writing hateful articles about Wii?

i mean, this is overdone, if he doens't like Wii he can simply shut up and play his Xbox360...

this person is giving a horrible impression of core gamers...

well, many core gamers hate the Wii, but Wii should not really care, Wii are going to enjoy Dragon Quest X, MH3, new Zelda, Conduit, motion plus and a hell of other games, Wii has the best 2009 lineup and i'm very afraid that Wii Motion Plus will be double monsterous than Wii Fit and Mario Kart.....

i think it's time to change my sig, LoL!!

Defend the Wii as much as you want, but don't make claims that are just not true.

In order to counter this, you would have to make a claim that is true, an I don't think you're able to do that any more than you can subjectively argue against the belief that the Wii has the best game lineup period, much less the best for 2009.

For the record, most of us have probably never once seen your "Wii loving ass," and I'm confident that I speak for the majority when I ask that things stay that way.

Nope, I'm with dark_gh0st here, and I liked their '07 and '08 lineups better than the other consoles too (which is, y'know, why I haven't bought one of the other consoles yet).

I'm surprised at you, MontanaHatchet. Attacking someone's subjective opinion because it doesn't coincide with your own? That's not your usual behavior. Some Wii fans are over-enthusiastic in their defense of their console (myself often included), but that doesn't mean you have to compensate, dude.

Why not just buy ANOTHER console, instead of selling one for another? This I never understood: Whats the point in selling the Wii? Is $250 really going to make you that much richer? What are you gonna do the day a great game for the Wii gets released? I own a ps3 and wii and Im very happy playing/switching between both Call of Duty and No More Heroes every other day.

Yea theres a slight drought for the Wii right now, but for crying out loud, if you owned a gamecube or a xbox, which had droughts for YEARS, this shouldn't even faze you.

lol so true.

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

The drought from when RE4 for the 'Cube came out until Zelda TP finally got released on the little lunchbox...23 months of pain and hype for the Revolution....but no GameCube games....

Just thinking about it hurts...

My post was like a thunder strike signaling a million fanboys raining down from the sky.

We have no way of knowing which console will have the best 2009 lineup, since we haven't seen the full lineup of each console. There are still a lot of games where even if we know they're coming out, we still don't know too much about them (Call of Duty 6, Guitar Hero 5). Again, the best lineup is opinion. But if my comment was so controversial that it sent the entire thread spiraling off topic, then maybe the Wii isn't looking so good in 2009 and maybe Wii fans weren't so secure about their lineup this past year. After all, I only wrote one line of text in response to another.

This thread was pretty dumb in the first place, since there are tons of people writing about how much they hate the Wii. What else is new?

Not at all, its just that some of us, don't like hearing people make comments that have no basis in reality, saying that Wii having the best 2009 lineup is false is not grounded in reality, since best lineup is subjective, as long as one person believes that Wii's is the best, then its a true comment if someone says its the best.

Three posts is "a million fanboys raining down from the sky"? That's enough to send "the entire thread spiraling off topic"? It makes you think "maybe Wii fans weren't so secure about their lineup this past year"?

I didn't think I'd ever have to say this to you, but dude, get off your high-horse.

It's imagery, unless you really think that a million people responded to my comment (it was actually 4). Not that I'd mind this thread going off topic, since it wasn't a very good one in the first place. But if there were really so many responses to just my one quick comment, it makes you wonder.

I guess I should apologize. Sorry. I'm in a bad mood, and I should be the last person to act like an elitist (I spent most of my time trying to fight people like that). Again, my apologies. Didn't want to ruin the thread.
