You forgot Motorstorm as well. GT5 has a high sales expectancy. However....
KZ2 does not have a high sales expectancy.

In other words, glorified BS ! You can't predict a review ... I suspect a cheap trick to have more people connecting to their website... |
Yeah what the hell is this predicting review stuff.

Thats exactly what I was thinking, They're are TOO many first person shooters flooding the market that K2 may get somewhat overlooked, also other than the graphics I dont see any major innovation in this game that will redifine first person shooters

Very true. One of the major gripes I've seen from a personal point of view was partially confirmed in that "preview review". The comment about the lack of variety in enemies characters you face. For me personally this would be a big turn-off.
I hope not. Little Timmy would cry if his cycle was broken, he spent a year saving up for it!
Anyway, I think it could break the cycle if there was a cycle to break. It will sell better than both LBP and R2 for reasons that I have argued and posted many times, and hell, even made a thread about, so I'm not going to say them again.
It's not going to do an MGS4 opening week, but it should have better legs. MGS4 was frontloaded because of its enormous fanbase who needed the game within a month of its release. KZ2 will have a very good first week due to advertising- 700k-1 million- and word of mouth should propel it to around 5 million LT sales at least.
In my opinion, of course.
| scottie said: The problem isn't the games, or their sales. But fanboys expectations. GTA was meant to kill the Wii LBP was meant to instantly upgrade all PS2 users to PS3 users Stop expecting so much and you wont be dissapointed |

Validating Machine SEAL OF QUALITY!

Well, we have some confirmation of its quality, at least.
OPM: 5/5. Now before you say ZOMG THEY GIVE ALL PS EXCLUSIVES 5/5!,
MGS4: 5
LBP: 5
Uncharted: 4
Resistance 2: 4
Pacific Rift: 3
Haze: 2.5
Lair: 2.5
So can we safely say that KZ2 is not Haze or Lair? Or even Resistance 2? It's better than all of those.
No, the only game (from what we know so far) that matches it in "quality" is LBP. LBP is a sidescrolling 2D platformer where you play as a piece of wool, on a high-tech adult male demographic system.
Killzone 2 is a violent, dark, first person shooter where you play as a badass soldier, on a high-tech adult male demographic system. Did I mention it has incredible graphics and can run in 1080i? And that it probably has a massive advertising budget because of the multiple million they've spent on development?
Now, which will sell better?
EDIT: Oh sorry, MGS4 also matches it in quality. Yes, that funny MGS4 game that broke a million first week and is looking to cross 4 million very soon.
I am expecting 1-2 mil. I think a lot of people will be disappointed with this game. I am also expecting the same thing out of the Conduit.
And what are these sales expectations anyway??? If the game hits 2.5M I'll be shocked...
If it hits 2M I'll be pretty impressed.
