@Soriku
The PS1 had CD playback. I have not had to purchase a stand alone device to play CD's since I got the PS1.
I understand that many people look at the extra features that the PS3 offers as PC functions, but I look at them as reasons not to have a big box with its own desk, and little 20in monitor. PS3 is the machine I have been waiting for since I got interested in electronics with the NES. Since I was very little I have always hated PCs due to all of the major problems that occur with them. Before the days of my family getting a NES we had a PC, and people always used to get PC games for me for presents, and at least half the time they did not work. It does not just stop at games either, every single aspect of computers is a royal pain in th &%* even for someone with my knowledge of them. What I want is an all in one box, that hooks up directly to my TV, has a footprint the size of the 360 (or smaller), and is simple to use.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

If microsoft though that sony were trying to enter the PC market via software (be it a operating system, software like word etc), all this was at a time people saw Bill Gates as the devil and microsoft as the Evil empire and sony could do nothing wrong at this time, it might of had microsoft worried a little. And when microsoft are worried they tend to destory the competition........................
