I'm sorry, but you are a fanboy. And the criteria never changed. The 360 had more hardware sales in 07. The 360 had more hardware sales in 08. You are the one trying to change the criteria or see things differently. You are desperately trying to hold on to some positive fact about your only console. A fanboy. Also, you keep saying the PS3 library was better in 08. That is a major opinion, and even if it were true, the amount of total quality AAA games on the PS3 is still well behind the 360.
@blazinhead89 The $600 model was cut to $500. Then that same model at $500 was dropped to $400 and changed slightly. The smaller previous $400 model was discontinued. Thus the $600 console dropped to $400 in a place of a years time.

The "360 is System of the Year!" articles started just after the 360 price cut. We did not even have the time to see whether the 360 was going to truly outsell the PS3 this year. I believe the price dropped around October(?) and the sales went above PS3's like a week afterwards. The Articles in question started surfacing in the nxt two weeks!!!! All the "PS3 is dying!" "PS3 fails!" "360 now outselling PS3!" started coming in by the bucket load. Need proof of that? just visit N4G.com, where I get all my gaming news from. The site is SWAMPED with all these articles dated back to that initial time period. So how could that claim be justified only a week or so after the 360 surge? Explain that to me please!
And I am not a fanboy, but indeed a fan of PS3! I just wish the PS3 could get the same level of respect from the media that is handed to the 360. 360 has gotten the golden ticket this gen and gets away with EVERYTHING, things that would have been plastered on Sony's forehead if they had done it. PS3 never gets recognition for what they do right by anyone but the fans, and it is stomped into the ground when they do something wrong by the media.
