　2008年11月1日に任天堂から発売されたニンテンドーDSiの国内累計販売台数が、2008年12月21日の時点で100万台を突破。推定販売台数106万2416台であることが、エンターブレインの調べで明らかになった。これにより、ニンテンドーDS及びニンテンドーDS Liteを含めた国内累計販売台数は2485万9874台（2008年12月21日時点）となった。

I have curbed my spending and have already started to save in anticipation of getting a DSi, Pokemon Platinum and perhaps a few more DS games. 2009 is going to be great for the DS.

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

Great, although I'm not buying! Already have the fhat and the lite so paying 150$ again for a 0.3 mp camera isn't warranting it!

I have replaced my 2 Lite with DSi already (because both of their hinges have cracked)
Although I must say that the hinge of DSi looks even weaker than lite...

Really? I expect it to come out in PAL areas after NA. As the DS sells more in PAL region.

and I excpect an NA release June at the earliest possible.

It totally deserves the cost of upgrade, even with an added import cost (~100 Euros here). An awesome piece of tech.

Also, for those criticizing the low resolution cameras, the portable is not here to compete with 13 MP behemoths, rather be an all-in-one affordable package.
