XBox 360 clearly sells more than PS3. XBox 360 has a much larger games library(No it doesnt it only has 50 or so games more then the PS3 when the total is like 350 to 300,THe PS3 has more games rated above 8.5 anyway, crap games don't even sell), better online service with a lot more subscribers than PSN(Debatable, seeing as consumers like me prefer free over slight inhancements. And in case you havent heard, both have 15million subscribers), Live has more exclusive content(This is true). PS3 hardware sales are more likely to be inflated(Why would this be exactly?). PS3 does not sell very well at all due to its ridiculous inflated price tag(INFLATED?! More like a super bargain seeing as the tech inside would cost you a quick 800 at the least anywhere else. THe 360 is a DEFLATED price with underlining fees such as 50 bucks for live a year, buying rechargable batterieswhich are at least 40, 100 dollar wifi adaptor, etc). PS3 game sales as a whole have been low in comparison to XBox 360 game sales.(Tomb Raider sold better on PS3 then 360, GTA sold better on 360, DMC4 sold better on PS3, it goes back and forth.)

Lets see:
(No it doesnt it only has 50 or so games more then the PS3 when the total is like 350 to 300,THe PS3 has more games rated above 8.5 anyway, crap games don't even sell)
According to GameRankings.com, the following argument can be made:
- The X360 has more games rated above 8.0 (122 to 69) - Which is a 76% greater volume of 8.0+ games.
- The X360 has more games rated above 8.5 (53 tp 34) - Which is a 56% greater volume of 8.5+ games.
- 'Crap Games' have a higher likelyhood of selling better on the X360. Crap game 'Quantum of Solace' sold an extra 150,000 units on the X360 according to VGC - 44% higher.
(Debatable, seeing as consumers like me prefer free over slight inhancements. And in case you havent heard, both have 15million subscribers)
Difference is that the X360 has 15 million paid subscribers for the X360 alone, whereas PSN has 15 million unpaid subscribers between 2 devices - the PS3 and PSP.
The 360 is a DEFLATED price with underlining fees such as 50 bucks for live a year, buying rechargable batterieswhich are at least 40, 100 dollar wifi adaptor, etc
Rechargable batteries (the official ones) are $20 USD. Offbrands are $20 for 2. The X360 can use any Wifi adaptor, so $30 works just as well as $100.
(Tomb Raider sold better on PS3 then 360, GTA sold better on 360, DMC4 sold better on PS3, it goes back and forth.)
Although it's true that TR:U and DMC sold better on the PS3, saying that 'it goes back and forth' is hardly an accurate statement:

Total Advantage of PS3 Top-25 games: Xbox 360 by 16 to 3.
And for the record, I pulled PS3 top-25 games which skews the list in favor of the Playstation 3. So I think that we can unequivocaly say that the X360 is the better software seller with it's 433% advantage over Playstation 3 for selling more software on any given game.
