Would maybe affect 1 percent total sales MAX. Probably much less.

Doesnt make one jot of difference......

How did you possibly come up with that number? If the ceiling was the number of RROD sales, then it would affect 50% of the sales max at first, then 66% of the sales, then 75% of the sales as the new replacement consoles are also prone to RROD.  I mean, if we're going to come up with a scientific way to generation the ceiling on how many people this can affect.

However, even if the 360 does have a high "I bought a replacement console" rate, that doesn't really matter because the attatch ratio, even considering the replacement consoles, is remarkably high.

I bought 2600mAh AA rechargables for my stuff for about $1 per battery.  I have about 50 such rechargeables and I use them for all kinds of things (including my son's toys).  If you think you have to buy the official pack, which doesn't even last nearly as long and isn't as convenient to charge, for $20, then you aren't looking for deals.

AA batteries are more convenient.  I have a constant set of charged batteries and "need to be charged" batteries that I put in my 8 and 4 battery chargers as they die.  My 360 controllers and Wii controllers last a really, really long time on these batteries.  Much longer than the packs.
