An FPS [an actual shooter] would be great from Retro. Like they revolutionise the way we control FPS games with MP3 they could revolutionise online play if they do an FPS...

Or they could redo Raven Balde. That game looked awsome. I was sooo sad it was canned :'(

I can't wait for this game! It sucks though, I get this game on the 28th. and then I start my senior year of high school on the 29th. -_- also, new videos on the Metroid Channel will come out today!

Isn't it funny how much lighter you feel. In other news, I have been seeing other countdowns on the web using the 27th as the release date. I like the 28th better because that is likely when we will get it. If we get it Monday then we'll be extra happy. Steven...if MP3 is as good as the last two I think there should be some sort of a giant THANK YOU card made for Retro with thousands of internet signatures hand delivered to this team. Could you imagine the pressure they must have felt. The article Sqrl posted shows that they were scared to death. Anyone live in Texas?

Myself i got into the series on metroid prime..amazingly enough i never heard of the metroid series until the hype started for that game..i never buy hype too easily but for this one i'm damn glad i did..amazing game, by far my GC favourite and one of my all time favourite games..words are just not enough to describe it...go play it!

Ok, what is the deal with Echoes? Reviews are just under Prime 1, but word on the street (especially around here) are that it's just not fun. Somebody give me the skinny on MP2. What did it add/take away that just wasn't the same? Or was it just too much of the same? See, By the time I finish MP1, I'll be moving on to MP3. After all that, should I go back to MP2? or just skip it?

definitely play it...great game...cool style....makes you think a little more than Prime....maybe it wasn't as fresh as Prime was, considering that Prime was the first 3d metroid...don't listen to the haters...it's a metroid game afterall.

Echoes was terrible for a metroid game.... but that is still many levels of enjoyment above average games.

Echoes is slightly better than the original Prime. They're actually the most similar two games in the entire series, which is what makes all the MP2 fan hate so ridiculous in the first place.

steven....could you explain what made echoes a terrible game for you....i understand that it is your opinion, and that is certainly cool...but I would just like to hear what you specifically did not like about the game.
