Well, it is another Final Fantasy game - they seem to sell quite well on Sony systems. Good first day sales though, be interested to see if week#1 breaks 550k.

People tend to underestimate FF's influece in Japan. Or maybe they just hate the series. Average prediction was 280k for the 1st week. Yeah, take that now.
Amazing sales, dunno how anybody can call this "average" and "not good".
How are these average sales? This is easily over 500k first week! That's amazing!
EDIT: More than MGS4. You can't expect this to sell like FFX, it's a brawler, not a JRPG.

Monster Hunter has gone into the DQ class in Japan in no time, the series has become a revelation once it went on PSP. That leads to to the obvious that there will be a MH3 for PSP, be that Monster Hunter Freedom 3G or whatever.
Dissidia sales were very good though, how people did not expect these numbers with the game being pure fan service I do not know.
