I got a real kick out Golden Sun 1 and 2. Had alot of fun with them compared to even some high budget console RPG's.

i wish nintendo would make a new golden sun game, but this time for the wii. i would get it for sure, loved the other ones.

In the case of me getting a Wii.... that just might actually seal the deal....

the topic for tonight is : favorite lead character in a rpg game. my favorite lead character is kaim from lost odyssey, followed closely by squall from final fantasy 8.

Ness from Earthbound. Who doesn't love being a kid who saves the world with a bat.

never played a earthbound game, are they worth my time to get them?

I definitely think the series is worth a look for any JRPG fan. It doesn't really innovate in battle mechanics (think Dragon Quest style), the visuals were bad even at the time. But the characters are great, the music is remembered by people to this day, and it has some of the best never taking itself too seriously humor in a JRPG. All in all, a really fun game.

cool, might have too check my friends store at the flee market today for those games. also for ppl who like the zelda series, should find somewhere a copy of " alundra" for the playstation, it was made by working designs. was a very good game, played like link to the past but with alot better graphics.

 I second, and third this statement/suggestion.

I kinda like the art style of the game, but that's probably just 'cause it grew on me.

the new topic for monday will be : favorite rpg game on the original playstation and why? for me it was final fantasy 8 and why, because i liked the battle system and how u junctioned magic and grew stronger,also liked the upgrading weapons,i also loved the story it was just great and the ending with that song was perfect. final fantasy 8 was my top rpg game ever until lost odyssey came out.
