No it won't, UTIII, a FPS (genre dominated by the 360) has been outsold by the PS3 version and that came out just 6 months after, we're talking about a game that's more PS3 centric and at least a year exclusivity, I say 1 million max.

 

Thats probably because UT3 is one of the best shooters on the PS3 purely as shooters go. The same cannot be said for the 360 which offers more and has more succesful shooters.

UT3 was a piece of shit, as as was said there was already superior shooting games on the system, even R6V was better than that crap that was UT3.

 

UT3 was a hot title on the PS3 as far as FPS goes. Actually it was the second best FPS on the system for a bit besides Resistance 1. You could create the levels n stuff. That was the real seller.

They would be assholes as well, why does that change anything?  Now if you're just upset because you think that it will hurt your console of choice then alright, but if you just don't want 360 fans to play the game out of spite then yes you are an asshole.

 in case u haven't relieze a port to 360 won't make any difference now. it already sold over 4 million, thats about the size of the MG fan base. porting it to 360 will take at least a year and by then no one would care about the game, even now its already too late to make a difference for 360. like san andreas for ps2, by the time it was ported to xbox, no one cared about the game anymore

Late ports dont have huge impact.
Bioshock is a fine example(best rated 2007 xbox game), poor sales on ps3 and no one even cared.

As a true MGS fan i want everyone to enjoy this awesome game.

And as for the PS3 sales... well with the exception of 2-3 games, the PS3 is an $400 xbox. Sony needs games like killzone 2, GOW3, GT5, Uncharted 2(games that cant be done on a 360). To justify the price.

On any system, the thing is the only decent timed exclusive the PS3 got (UT3) was only 6 months and it still outsold the 360 counterpart in a genre that MS has had a firm grip on since the original XBox.

Too many threads about the teaser!

We don't need this many, least of all one speculating that the ps3 might die because a 6+ month old game might get ported in the next 6+ months.
