I think Persona 4 will be awesome too, but we should all at least play it first.....

IMO, i'd take VC over P4 anyday. but the overall ignorant masses may not agree.

Also im pretty sure i saw a penis monster in one of them somewere before and some "other" disturbing things i'd rather not mention...

Anyway....I can understand what you're saying Outlaw, but you have to remember it comes out next week and has been getting great reviews, you'll have to forgive the enthusiasm of those who love the series. All I needed to read was "better than Persona 3" and I'm all on board for the hype train. Hopefully it lives up to it.

 Persona 4 is JRPG of the year. Valkyria Chronicles would be a close 2nd. come on add Persona 4 to the bloody list.

Tales of Vesperia is the best game on that list.

Fallout 3 or Fable 2 for best RPG of the year. There is no JRPG category. RPG includes all types of RPG games.

Valkyria Chronicles easily is the best JRPG of the year for home consoles. It has an innovative combat system, is turn based, and has great visuals. Let's not forget this was made by the same team that made Skies of Arcadia on Dreamcast, and even has the Skies of Arcadia characters in it!

I know. I am a fan of the series as well. (I have all the MegaTen games except for Devil Summoner, Devil Summoner: NiNe, and Persona 1)

If Persona 4 doesn't count for some odd reason, I'd say Valkyria Chronicles.

As much as I hate metacritic, go look at it.
