I suppose that's alright...depends what the other mods think as well.

NO there isnt no "I suppose" we need to know why that person was banned so we wont make those mistakes they made before...its convient and it should be addressed to ioi....

Step 1: follow terms you agreed to when you made your username

Step 2: Reread forum rules if necessary

yeah you guys I do the same thing I try to figure it out but people like Kwaad, Blue3, and the recent Soriku...its kinda of obvious but it would be nice to have a section on this.....O_O

Kwaad isnt banned..

He use to be banned alot if you wasn't here from the begining when this site was being made.....I was at the begining when this site was being built and I know Kwaad....

Yeah, banning Kwaad used to be a sport!  Ahhh... the good old days. ;)

Numbers are like people. Torture them enough and you can get them to say anything you want.

VGChartz Resident Thread Killer

Would there really be a point to a public banning announcement topic/forum?

It would turn into an argument for/against that person, flame war, and probably even more bannings. Does it really matter if you know why a person was banned? If you really want to know, click on their profile and look at their recent posts and you'll get a decent idea just why they were in fact banned.

I remenber it more like:

This Site Has Gone "X" Days Without Kwaad getting banned

And yes, is a great idea...

By me:

Made with Blender + LuxRender
"Since you can´t understand ... there is no point to taking you seriously."

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, NO.

This idea is awful and stupid.

Trolls often just want attention. This idea guarentees it to them, like it's their right. Why should we highlight our worst posters with special threads?

If a poster that anyone gives a rat's ass about is banned, the reason for it will be passed around. For everyone else, screw 'em. They were banned because they broke the rules. Check their old posts to find out why. The end.

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.

WOW what a way to thrash a thread and a good idea....it would be funny knowing who went on the Wall of Shame!!! LOL....well i cant decide only the MODS!! can....so...whatever...O_O

I agree with Erik actually.

I'm open to the idea of letting you guys know why someone was banned...but this thread would quickly become a place to bash trolls and give them unnecessary attention.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

will be funny but can degenerate in flame war.

but, still, will be funny

Time to Work !

15 mins of "paperwork" for every user banned, glad I'm not a mod :)
I could see them doing 2 hours of writing up reports if there is a big flame war on the forum :D

(If you don't get the ref. In the UK when ever a policeman does a quick stop and search they have to make out a detailed report)

"..just keep on trying 'till you run out of cake"

yeah again I said it would be funny u dont have to do make a thread about the people who got banned...but a question while on topic...why is Gballzack banned?? and why does she have a new account??
