According to VGC, Ben 10 has sold 0.81 million on Wii.

EDIT: Maybe it was across all consoles. 0.81+1.15+0.35+0.52= 2.83 million.

Well being one of the most popular kids cartoon show doesn't hurt.. and a budget price... = WIN!

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Because most Wii games are endloaded, and the ones that you mentioned are niche anyway. I mean why not compared it to Boom Blox or De Blob? I think those are the ones that have good examples than those...

P.S. Why you mentioned COD WAW? Its just only on its second week of sales yet.

edit: Boom Blox actually sell its only released this year while Protector of the Earth released over a year...

end of core gaming days prediction:

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

E3 2010- Tape runs out

I wouldn't say boom blox flopped.
500k is good for a new IP third party game.

I don't think any of those games flopped.  Call of Duty World at War should sell over 5 million, for example.

Kids know what Ben 10 is, they likely have little to no clue what No More Heroes is.

I mean, when I was a kid, I bought every Ninja Turtles game and had no idea what other quality games may have been out. Donatello was my favorite Ninja Turtle because my older brother already said Leonardo was his favorite so I couldn't pick him.

that is across all consoles, wii is only a part of that. I don't see why people have a problem with games like ben 10 selling well to kids that obviously liked the show.

Those games you mentioned had good sales except COD, but even with that game it could still have really good legs and sell well, not as well as the 360 version but still good sales.

Bloom Blox is the definition of a 3rd party success, it's probably going to break a million.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Millions of people don' read reviews, forums or websites. The majority of consoles owners actually. They buy what they see on TV, what's the cheapest, what's easy to see in stores or franchises they already know.

A friend of mine never had played videogames, he just bought a DS. I talked to him about professor Layton, Mario, Zelda, Mario Kart... But he first bought "Lanfeust de Troy", a crappy game based on a famous comic book here in my country.

It's the sad thruth
