UT3 and Haze were announced exclusive "this year" for the PS3 at E3, I haven't heard any news suggesting otherwise. And 45nm tech won't hit the 360 till '09. We haven't even gotten 65nm tech yet.

I knew some games had to be pushed out of 07 due to the sheer amount of releases, but I didn't think it would be GTA. So whose big game is coming out in October? Maybe some release date shuffles incoming ...


Both IGN and GS reported that Haze and UT3 are delayed until next year. I think Haze releases in February and UT3 is TBA. So I guess that leaves Lair, Heavenly Sword, and Rachet & Clank.


Umm IGN didn't report that at all...

Dont see why, his opinion is that the wii has the worst lineup, my opinion is that the ps3 has the worst lineup.

Nintendo could only have Mario galaxy and SSBB on christmas and that would be enough to win.

The 360 still has some big games coming like:

Bioshock, Halo 3, Mass Effect, Rock Band, Call of Duty 4, Ace Combat 6, Assassin's Creed, Virtua Fighter 5 Online, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Project Gotham Racing 4, Eternal Sonata, Half-Life 2: The Orange Box, etc...

And even some possible sleeper hits like:

Stranglehold, Two Worlds, Flatout: Ultimate Carnage, Clive Barker's Jericho, Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, Army of Two, Timeshift, Blacksite: Area 51, Mercenaries 2, F.E.A.R. Files, World in Conflict, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, etc..

That's not even counting the fact it's likely to have the best console version of Madden 08... So it's not like the 360 has nothing except Halo 3 coming out, it still has a very good lineup of medium hits.

Depending on your definition of the line up of games is what brings up your opinion. Never the less the wii "does" have a bad line up of games this holiday season.

 I think you are wrong. SSBM sold 6 millions, SMS sold 5.5 millions. No other consol has sequals to games that sold that well.

Yes even though more than half of those are being released on another console, and you keep loosing the fact that it currently has games, while the other console has no games, you fail to see the resemblence?

yes, the wii will have a pretty good lineup.

For Sony, one of the PS3's only system sellers is gone! Not so good. For Microsoft, I'm sure the 360 will be OK. They still have halo and other good games. For Nintendo, this is good news. They will win this year 120%!
