Yeah It'll be funny to see what happens after the 360 has it's price drop and after the big games like Bioshock, Halo 3, and Mass Effect start flexing their muscle.. I wonder if there will be any PS3 games that will have even half the sales of Halo 3? LOL.. It'll probably outsell half the PS3 library coming out this Fall/X'mas.

 4 million in 8.5 months.  Spreading that over the average console life of 5 years gets you 28.23 million consoles.  Those are GCN numbers.  They have every reason to be concerned.

 You forgot about Bandai-Namco. They have actually shifted projects to Wii and 360 at the expense of the PS3.

Hard to flex muslces when the hardware youre played on is down for repairs.

Yahh that $20 of a core will really sky rocket sales, not.

 It will be funny to see when big games like URT3 Ratchet&Clank Uncharted start flexing their muslce.

 Add on the fact that games apparently cost more to develop for HD systems, which means you need to sell more copies to make your money back. If 3rd parties weren't interested in a console that sold between 20-30 million, for a console that has development costs 2x that of previous gen, you need a lot more consoles out there (or at least a much higher attach rate).

 8.5 months including launch. Not that good... People just accept the (IMO) facts. Wii has so far average games and PS3 isn't selling well.
