To each their own I always say. Just trying to make sure people write off games for the right reasons rather than the wrong ones if ya follow.

By the time it releases, I'd say about 39 or 40 million Wii owners will not buy Mad World, at least. I think it looks cool and plan to check it out, but if you look at what sells in big numbers on Wii, I'm not sure how Mad World fits that mold.

oh and please stop it with it is too violent. I call it pure art. The graphical effect of black and white with the blood brings a visual aspect never reached before.
It's cartoony, exagerated, over the top violence. It's not like Manhunt. It's like Evil Dead movies and Death Race 2000 Fallout 1 & 2 and lots of other good violent and gory goodness. Lighten up people. You're acting like little biddies looking up from your knitting to condemn the degradation of society.

I'm saying that htey are playing into the stereotype of Nintendo fans who do not buy into violent games. This is not an insult to Nintendo fans! This is highlighting a stereotype.

I don't know enough about it to judge. i neither buy nor avoid games based on them being violent.
I love the art style, but have no idea about the plot, gameplay etc. I shall look into it inbetween the American and Australian releases
It's from the people who gave us Okami and RE4. You shouldn't even have to think after hearing that.

03/10/09 HUGE day in my life:
For me it all depends on the controls. I loved the tactile feel of brutalizing people in Godfather but the rest of that game was a little flat. If it controls similar to Godfather and is fun in shorts bursts I'm definately getting it.
However this game is as niche as niche can be. 500k would be a great result for sales.
