I think it's a perfect title for the PSP and should strike the same chord as the uber seller Monster Hunter Portable 2/G.

It sold less than spectacularly on the PS3, but I suppose the PSP is seen as less of a 'hardcore' console so it should sell pretty well.

i think it could sell a solid 1.5 million on PSP, which is good for PSP with pirating and all lowering sales

But I thought you needed the power of the PS3 to create the casual create a level games?

If it performs anything like its console counterpart, then I doubt it. Besides, PSP sales are generally pretty dismal outside of Japan.

No... at least not in Japan... I could see it pushing a nice ~ 2 million worldwide, but I wouldent bet on more... and it alos depends on the sales of the PS3 iteration of course ;)

Monster Hunter is an RPG in which you (well) hunt for monsters in a 3D world.

Little Big Planet is a Jump 'n' Run where you create your own levels.

Yeah, definitely the same target audience... (what I mean is you can't compare those games and I highly doubt they'll strike the same chord...Just because Monster Hunter was on a home console first and sold way better on the PSP doesn't mean the same will happen to Little Big Planet as Monster Hunter pretty much appeals to the Pokemon croud while LBP appeals to the Jump 'n' Run audience. The game could still be a success, though.)

Seems very unlikley. Keep in mind Monster Hunter and Monster Hunter G are the 3rd and 4th best selling PSP games.

Outside the Grand Theft Auto games above them nothigns come within 500,000 of them without being bundled.
