I say it can hit 20 mil. Just about. I don't believe I predicted 21 million.

And if there's a price cut next year, the PS3 will be at a LOT more than 27.3 million by the end of 2009. Don't forget Gran Turismo.

Reeves then went on to say that the PS3 has a bigger install base than the 360 in PAL territories, and that the install base gap will significantly increase in 2009.

So, i wouldn`t count on VG TODAY`S ESTIMATES on Europe HW, till more correct GFK and MCV data will be available. =)

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

Any reason for PS3 to sell worse with incoming LBP bundles in Europe, PES in Japan, new 160GB models, and other bundles? Not to mention, that PS3 is doing MUCH better in Europe, then VGC estimates are. =)

with this trend , 200K a week for PS3, and 300K for Dec, it is destined to be 18-19.5 mil, and for xbox 360 it is destined to be at least 26, the ps3 and xbox 360 differences is growing.

beacuse its not going to get a price cut like it did last year. the price cut was the key to holiday sales last year, with out them sony has given christmas to wii, and 360
