I tie is still a loss for Microsoft who won easily in 06 and 07. With a crazy price drop like they've had and still not pull out a win? And they have less going for them in 09 then they did in 08- PS3 takes 2008 with a slim margin and 2009 by a large one.

This is a funny post. First 2006, then 2007 now in 2008 which saw GT5P, MGS4, R2, Motorstorm 2 and LBP Sony still cant win. So when 2009 starts and 360 has a 7mill+ lead in consoles tell me how 2009 is going to be better for Sony? I'm just getting tired of the goalposts moving for what will be the 4th christmas?

Umm in case you havent been watching, the 360 is in postion at these sales to beat the PS3 this year. As it did in 06 and 07.

 And in case you dont know. Since PS3 launch the gap has been made bigger by 613,000. It's looking easily possible by end of year that gap is 1.5-2mill more 360's than PS3 sold since PS3 launch.

This was supposed to be the year of the PS3, but it hasn't moved software very well, and now it looks like it's gonna lose in the hardware game.

The Xbox 360 won 06-07 and it seems like it'll win '08 as well. Maybe ps3 can turn things around in '09. They should launch a $199 ps3. That will definitely challenge the 360 in a major way.

how is this a crazy price drop, they have cut prices once a year since its been on market. and they are making money in the entertainment division with the price cut, sony is not making any money even without a price cut
