There's a major difference here. Sony pretty much had a 35-35-30 split with the Ps2, with 30% in Japan (I know this isn't what it ended at). The Ps3 is more of a 45-40-15.

As for the OP's prediction, I don't see God Of War 3 selling more than 4M tops (I feel that is optimistic). If that is the best the Ps3 sees that year, that's a big problem. That's less than the Wii's 1 year old titles will sell, and almost all 360 titles will outdo that.

define huge?...I doubt it'll sell 3mil or more..seeing as the series has been selling less and less..I can't assume this game to be HUGE

Seeing how every God of war games sells about a million less every time a new one in the series is released i think its safe to say that plenty of Ps3 games will sell more than .28 million next year.

I expect bad sales..you see..it's been dropping 1mil each release..but can't seriously count the PSP game..wich means
1.28mil are the core fans of GoW...now..with the PS3 install base..LOL
