Lasting Appeal
After beating the super-short campaign mode there really isn’t much to do unless you’re into shaving seconds off of your trial times.

I could careless about the review since it is IGN, but from this sentence it confirms what I thought all along. I will still rent it.

what's so bad about IGN?

they're usually the first place I go to after Gametrailers

and gametrailers is really amazing cuse it's all videos and you don't have to read anything, lol

It has to do with half the reviewers on the site starting with the GTA4's review. It is a personal taste thing, don't mind it. Generally I been iffy on reviews this generation. I still go to 1up for reviews sometimes.

but Assasin's Creed didn't bomb!

Sure, but Unreal Tournament 3, Pure, and Blacksite: Area 51 did bomb. For every game that beats the odds like Assassin's Creed, you have three more games fell.

I'm not saying it's technically impossible for this game to do well. As you've noted, it's possible. I'd pin it as "very unlikely," however.

yes I guess you are correct in that way.

Lower than expected, though the text makes it sound even worse. And spending $60 on a game that only lasts a few hours is pretty ridiculous with no multiplayer or real replay value beyond simple leaderboards.

Yeah...I bought Heavenly Sword when it first came out.  =x

It ended up being a good game, but I shouldn't have paid more than $30 for it, given its length.

lol not that it actually matters, but the PS3 version is currently at 82 and the 360 version 81 on metacritic.
although, the PS3 has only 14 reviews counted vs the 360's 17

Proud Sony Rear Admiral

a 7.4 isn't really something to be proud of...
Naruto, on the other hand, got an 8.4. That's pretty good. But not the 9.5 given to LBP and R2, the 9.4 given to BioShock and Fallout 3, the 9.2 given to Call of Duty: World at War or even the 9/10 given to Valkyria Chronicles.

So, no thanks. I didn't think I would like this game anyway.

yea but 360 fans keep mentioning the superior 360 version of fallout 3 due to scoring .2 higher than the PS3 version.

Yeah...but Fallout 3 isn't a shitty game. It's a big deal if the 360 is the graphical underdog. Any game on the PS3 has no excuse to be inferior. It's supposed to be powerful and take up too much hard drive space. Mirrors Edge is a brave concept, but it looks like a shitty title.

I don't really care about the .1, what's "important" is that the game failed. IGN gives good scores pretty easily, so a 7. something game isn't good. After playing the demo, It feels like the whole game is just a "run and sometimes press L1 or L2", really boring...

omg thats not even true! i played both demos on the same tv and the only difference was that the xbox360 version had better AA! this is so false news and just bullshit. ign is full of crap. they even said gta4 looks better on ps3 because it is running on a lower resolution which makes the game blurrier and cause of that you dont recognice some not so good looking parts... lol, what a joke.

i bet ign would score this 10/10 for graphics: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/48/Malewitsch.jpg/180px-Malewitsch.jpg
