360's big game of this year, Gears of War 2 wasn't unveiled until January of this year. Give them some time and I'm sure they will come with something big. In October of last year, you would be surprised at how how many of their 2008 lineup was unknown.

you know if killer instinct 3 actually comes out that would be awesome! pure awesomeness to me and of course countless fans. the only sad thing about killer instinct is that Microsoft owns RARE so ps3 players who are familiar with killer instinct wont ever see it on their system....but hmmmm maybe, maybe there's a slight chance but maybe not because due to the fact the Microsoft owns rare just makes it impossible for it to come to the ps3 cuz every business man wants an edge you know what i mean. but me i like it to be on the ps3 too.

anyway for 2009 i'm lookign forward to halo wars since i'm a fan of rts games, splinter cell conviction will be good,

We also have Star Ocean 4.

This happens every year and every year microsoft comes out with the goods. I wouldn't worry about it mate, the 360's lineup will be easily comparable to the ps3's by the time the good games are getting released next year.

Theres tonnes of games to look forward to in 09 on 360 and i'm glad some people are finally sitting up and starting to take notice of the 360's potentially GREAT line up for 09. Which is the big game for 09? I dont know but here are some of the candidates..................

Splinter cell: conviction...... No introduction needed
Halo 3 recon..... Again no inroduction

Forza 3....... Its gonna happen
Ninja blade...... Go see the game trailers, Great looking hack and slash with QTE'S
The protector..... FPS/Puzzle/Stealth game all in one
Mass effect 2.... No introduction
Prey 2..... I liked part 1 , can the sequel improve? I say yes........
Alan wake......... Potential to be an epic game from the creators of the amazing max payne.
Star ocean 4.....No introduction
Velvet assasin....... WWII stealth/action game

ect ect ect, all genres covered and thats just the tip of the iceberg........ 360 will be HUGE in 09.......................... Bottom line_________________

And lets not forget about tekken 6 going multiplat (some said that tekken had such close links to sony that it would NEVER go multiplat)...... What will microsoft take from sony next?

ps3 will have the best titles of 2009 just like in 2008

I guess it could be big saleswise....but I really hate racing games. I dunno how big Forza is gonna be, because I find I often represent my demographic more than most.

I'm almost certain the Halo 3 spinoff is gonna sell more.

I think Team ICO's next project might be GotY or maybe Alan Wake, GoW3 or maybe even Yakuza3 or GT5. If MS release Halo 3 or Ninja Blade.

both ps3 and 360 have great games coming in 2009 .. but i think the ps3 games will be a bit better.
