Squall is a character a lot of people dislike so I chose him. 

Maybe in VGChartz but this site doesn´t represent the whole gaming/JRPG community. Cloud also had really bad personal traits, yet so many people like him. Laguna was really goofy but people generally liked him a lot. I don´t think bad traits make a character unattractive, actually many games have great heroes with shitty personalities. So what trait is lame and which one isn´t is up to each individual.

 

Laguna and Raine were the two best characters in the entire game IMO.  Honestly if the game had featured them more, it would have probably been much more favorably looked at.  The most touching moment in the whole game was probably during the end where Laguna proposed to her and then it cuts to him standing over her grave.

Yep, just like it's fine for your Wii games to have shitty graphics, but not fine for the other consoles. >.<

 

With your ban-history I would definitely choose my words a little bit more wisely...I'll let this one pass, but you get the idea.

Besides: Marc Cassamawhatever said the graphics were way better than the Gamecube game. I really hope Final Fantasy 13 is more of the same, only to receive a 10.

If its any consulation, Gametrailers gave the game 79% Seeing they gave Mirror's Edge on the PS3 83% while most gave higher scores, I doubt we'll see many lower scores as what IGN is giving.

Why should it have been on PS2?

It sold pretty good in Japan and will no doubt become the best sold RPG so far this gen. That's a massive success for Namco (and for Wii ftm).

They already made another Tales: Vesperia on 360 and they're now making the next "real" Tales for Wii. Besides I'm pretty hyped about a sequel to one of my favorite last RPGs.

Really Benga? Every main Final Fantasy has been a large step away from it's predecessors. And more of the same for FF means more excellence in all sectors of the game with a uncomparable amount of polish.

Soriku tried to get me to play the original Tales on the Gamecube. I just couldn't get into the game like he could. The game was really boring and dull. And seeing how this sequel got a awful score just made me not at all care for this franchise.

IGN said the combat system is nice but dull considering the story and characters are boring. Not that many customization going on and plus the game holds your hand. This is not something I will enjoy. I agree with IGN and thanks for warning me about this game.

Although the box art is triple AAA.lol

Hey, FUCK THEM. I've been playing the game pretty much all night yesterday, and it's been nothing but fun. The original game was amazing, so many things to do with an awesome storyline. I do admit, though, you have to have played the first game to fully appreciate this one.
I loved visiting the old towns and seeing what they'd become.
