Gran Turismo(EU), Dragon Quest(Japan), Gears/Halo(NA) are the only ones I can think of. But I dont think either one will reach 10m. even worldwide.

Well, if you count PC, Maxis sold well over that with The Sims.
If not, it's worth noting that the only game this gen to sell over 10 mil in one region is Wii Sports, and the enormous majority of that came from the fact that it was bundled with every non-Japanese Wii. It wouldn't have crossed 5 million if it wasn't bundled like that.
For that reason, Wii Sports Resort will not do particularly well.
I think the real question is whether any non-Nintendo game will be able to sell 10 million on one console worldwide. I say Gran Turismo 5 is a candidate. So is Halo 4, if they ever get around to making it. Of course, 'they' wouldn't be Bungie, so it wouldn't be as good, and sales would suffer as a result.
I believe the closest a non-Nintendo game has come this gen is actually Halo 3 with some 8.2 million. So not far off.
I think, were GTA4 exclusive, it would have a chance of cracking 10 million on the PS3 eventually.

GTA IV's done it, assuming you combine all the SKU's. Ditto for Call of Duty IV. And when Halo 3 comes out for the PC, it'll probably do that much too, worldwide. ...Can anyone name any others? I'm honestly at a loss here.

True, but if one combines platforms and it passes 10 million lt worldwide sales its not really such an epic feat anymore imo. Especially given the 10-15 million sales of certain games on a single platfrom in past gens.
I cannot see it happening as Nintendo will win this generation comfortably and we all know that Nintendo systems sell Nintendo games best.
Neither the 360 or PS3 have the install base to sell a 10 million game.
Halo3 will probably hit 10 million WW and GTA4 might hit 10 million between the 360 and PS3 in one region.
Its a long shot but if M$ decided to release Halo 4 on the 360 rather than leaving it for their next console and it was released Xmas 2010 then it might have a remote chance.
Nintendo has the cheaper system, so no. I highly doubt it until later on in the lifespan of the generation unless 3 Halo sells 10 Million this year with the new Xbox 360 buyers.

Prepare to be proven wrong.
Wii Sports Resort comes with Motion Plus. It'll be the game to have for that particular peripheral. Believe me when I say this, I'm betting right now that people will try to disclude it like Wii Play because it's another forced bundle. Of course, also because it'll pull Wii Play-like numbers, and people will look for any excuse to downplay the Wii's success.
Wii Sports has sold 3.27mil in Japan, when it costs about $40. That's a ~47% attach rate, higher than Wii Play in that region. I'm not saying it would have crossed 10mil in one region (not yet anyway), but not even crossing 5 mil? Who are you kidding? Again, it sold 3.27mil in Japan, where only 20% of all Wiis have been sold.

Wait... What does this have to do with anything? Not only is this wrong, it also has nothing to do with the topic. Or is it just your way of saying "The Wii is outselling the HD consoles by heaps"?
On topic again, this is a list of all games that have made 10M in a single region.
Americas:
SMB - 29.52M
Duck Hunt - 27.34M
Tetris - 23.55M
Wii Sports - 15.58M
Super Mario World - 12.97M
Pokemon R/B - 11.44M
The Sims - 11.39M
Super Mario Land - 10.99M
Others:
Wii Sports - 12.7M
Nintendogs - 10.59M
Japan:
Pokemon Red/Blue - 10.24M
So there has never been a non-bundled game that has made 10M in a single territory. In reality, all games have seen almost all their sales from bundles, save for Pokemon Red/Blue and Nintendogs. Still, no doubt - SMB would have made 10M in Americas anyway.
So the real reason that there is only Nintendo games here, is that they are the only one who has bundled games with hardware for a long period. Otherwise, there would probably only have been 4 games here.
So what we are seeing with Wii Play is historical. It will be the first game that has never been bundled to pass 10M in a single territory - and it is likely to be the 2nd to ever pass it in 2 areas.
So for this generation, I see the following games passing 10M in a single area.
Wii Sports (Americas + Others)
Wii Play (Americas + Others)
Wii Fit (Others)
Nintendogs (Others)
And in the "maybe" pile.
Mario Kart Wii (Others)
Wii Fit (Americas)
Nintendogs (Americas), needs 2.31M more.
Brain Training (Others), needs 2.7M more.

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

not sure if i agree with that.. i agree that it won't do as well as wii sports (obviously).. but i think it will do more than particularly well (as opposed to "not particularly well").. consider:
- It is packaged with Motion+ (so "core" gamers would also be picking it up)
- It has "Wii Sports" in the title.. (lets face it, the majority of casual wii owners see it as a great fun game, and more often than not is the reason they bought the wii in the first place)
If it doesn't sell 10mil WW at the very least, i'd be surprised (10mil in one region is another matter entirely)
@Oyvoyvoyv: Did you forget Wii Sports Resort? I think the game will have a damn good shot at 10M in both America/Others regions. It's true we don't know the exact details of the game yet, but it's basically the game representing Motion Plus, so...
I wonder if Nintendo will come out with any more hard hitters later in the gen. They do have quite a long time before the Wii stops selling software so well, and even the DS has a good few years left in it.

Nintendo has the mass market this gen and that is their saving grace. The sales of the past will go to fewer and fewer games this gen on the next gen consoles. With the economy being the way it is, I only see things going slowly. Only the most deserving consoles with profitable and active installed bases will sell big. The only system doing this is Nintendo and the 360 is struggling beind them.
