I think this game would be a lot more fun on the wii using the wii controller in combat Man that would be one hell of a workout. But seriously the game will be ok. Sony is having a hard time right now as a company so they are releasing games early and often. Dont expect the quality to be all there as they rush to try to rebound from a 90% profit decrease last quarter and laptop battery recall.

All 3 GoW games thus far where amazing and I expect the same from 3. TBH the only reason I will have a PS3 later on is to be able to play GoW3... but your predictions are nonsense IMO. Graphics will be amazing, well above Heavenly Sword or Uncharted, but it wont be CGI... not even Crysis cant compete with those graphics, and Im not expecting GoW3 to be able neither.

Sales wise... well seeing that it did over 500k first week in the US alone ( 2) and seeing that the PS3 has far les exclusives and at the point when 3 is released, much more life left in it.... I say 1 million + first week ( actually similar to Fable 2 in sales IMO ) and ~ 3.5-4.5 million LT, depending on bundling, and Sonys upcomming lineup///

This is the only franchise that has came out this gen...that I've actually hated. When this game starts to materialize, and all the fake "wow zomg" posts pop up...this game is gonna cause me more arguments on this forum then all the ones I've had so far combined.

Read my sig, God of Puzzle ftl. I hate the series, it's only recognized as "good" because the main character has a great personality, and the story is good. The freakin' block puzzles suck, the combat sucks, jumping sucks, and it's boring, repetitive, and over-long, despite its short length.

I'd rather play DMC....2 than any GoP game. I hate, hate, hate it. HATE! I don't care if the graphics are like looking into the face of God. Quick-time event boss battles and block puzzles make Zen a dull boy.


That said, yes, I hope it sells well, because while I really don't care about the game, I care less about its sales, and if they can make someone happy, then fine, whatever.

 

This isn't something I've came up with since I've become a 360 fanbaby. This is something that I always believed, when i was a Wii fanbaby, and a PS3 fanbaby, and while I'm still a PS2 fanbaby. Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate. Dire, vile, hatred of the damned.

My respect for you just dropped.

God of War has better combat than Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden, Heavenly Sword and Prince of Persia put together times a million.

And the puzzles are amazing. It's nice to break up the thoughtless combat with thoughtful puzzles.

You only get to the quick time events once you've wailed on the bosses with uber twin enchanted god blades and uber god powers. That's two ubers in one sentence.

Ah well, at least you bought the first one.

Oh and God of War II probably sold reasonably badly because it was banned in 3/4 of the world...

EDIT: 500k first week, 4 million LTD. I don't want to predict higher because I want it to live up to my expectations.

LBP will be huge... :(

number 1 i felt the story was a thousand times better and it was way harder in that u had to do button combs right in order to kill an enemy or leader or what have u. the puzzels were harder it took me a long time to figure out how to move that arrow machine anyways to destroy the door and that swimming part was a bitch. but anyways the first one was epic and number 2 to me seemed rushed and the end of the game i didn't feel satisfied i felt i wasted my time playing this piece of shat. i don't think #3 will even come close to number 1. i ain't falling with a bullshat ending and ur princess in the other castle trick or thanks for playing ending 1942 ur a fn bitch u know how long it took me to beat u and i get an ending like that fu. hrow some bs together in and say here is number 2 enjoy what a bunch of homosexuals and dont give kratos a gay as outfit please.
