God of War 3 will make god of war 1 and 2 look like babies

Oh, please, don't start overhyping this...please...

This is the only franchise that has came out this gen...that I've actually hated. When this game starts to materialize, and all the fake "wow zomg" posts pop up...this game is gonna cause me more arguments on this forum then all the ones I've had so far combined.

Read my sig, God of Puzzle ftl. I hate the series, it's only recognized as "good" because the main character has a great personality, and the story is good. The freakin' block puzzles suck, the combat sucks, jumping sucks, and it's boring, repetitive, and over-long, despite its short length.

I'd rather play DMC....2 than any GoP game. I hate, hate, hate it. HATE! I don't care if the graphics are like looking into the face of God. Quick-time event boss battles and block puzzles make Zen a dull boy.


That said, yes, I hope it sells well, because while I really don't care about the game, I care less about its sales, and if they can make someone happy, then fine, whatever.

 

This isn't something I've came up with since I've become a 360 fanbaby. This is something that I always believed, when i was a Wii fanbaby, and a PS3 fanbaby, and while I'm still a PS2 fanbaby. Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate. Dire, vile, hatred of the damned.

God of War has better combat than Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden, Heavenly Sword and Prince of Persia put together times a million.

And the puzzles are amazing. It's nice to break up the thoughtless combat with thoughtful puzzles.

You only get to the quick time events once you've wailed on the bosses with uber twin enchanted god blades and uber god powers. That's two ubers in one sentence.

Ah well, at least you bought the first one.

Oh and God of War II probably sold reasonably badly because it was banned in 3/4 of the world...

EDIT: 500k first week, 4 million LTD. I don't want to predict higher because I want it to live up to my expectations.

LBP will be huge... :(
